Car Barn
Located adjacent to Perkins Square, the historic Car Barn represents the prototype for additional investment in and around the PSO Transformation Zone. Originally built in 1891, the Car Barn was part of Baltimore’s foray into traction-powered trolly cars. Throughout the 20th century, the Car Barn and later additions to the site were utilized as storage, maintenance, and repair facilities for Baltimore’s Department of Public Works.
Beatty has partnered with Baltimore-based Cross Street Partners to rehabilitate these historic buildings into a dynamic 43,000 SF commercial space suitable for a variety of uses, such as office, restaurant, gym, retail, or workforce training.
