Three Innovative Retailers to Open in Exelon Building
Anticipation continues to build as Beatty Development Group announces the addition of three new retailers to the Exelon Building located at 1310 Point Street in the neighborhood of Harbor Point. The announcement that west elm, CorePower Yoga and honeygrow have leased space and are expected to open by fourth quarter 2016 was made today by Michael Beatty, President of Beatty Development. Located along Baltimore’s scenic waterfront between Harbor East and the historic neighborhood of Fells Point, Harbor Point is a new neighborhood currently being developed by Beatty Development Group.
west elm, the Brooklyn-based home retailer, will lease 11,069 square feet of space on the corner of Dock Street and Central Avenue, its first retail store in Maryland. West Elm helps customers express their personal style at home with authentic, affordable, and approachable designs. The Denver-based premier yoga company, CorePower Yoga will open a 4,000 square foot studio in the Exelon Building along Dock Street. The Harbor Point studio will offer a variety of yoga class styles for all levels including CorePower Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, and Hot Power Fusion as well as a number of additional cross-training opportunities. Built with green, sustainable practices in mind, the new CorePower Yoga studio will operate to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and boast a range of amenities including changing rooms with showers and private lockers.
honeygrow, the Philadelphia-based company bringing people together over quality, wholesome and delicious foods will open a 2,210 square foot restaurant along Dock Street. Featuring made to order stir-frys, salads, honeybar and smoothies, guests can fully customize everything for vegan, gluten-free and other dietary restrictions. Their “honest eating and growing local” mantra means their sauces and dressings are all freshly made in-house with never frozen fresh ingredients for quick serve dining in or take away.
