Race Pace Bicycles Announced for Nine East 33rd
Race Pace Bicycles will soon be expanding to Nine East 33rd, in an announcement made by Armada Hoffler Properties and Beatty Development Group. Located in Charles Village across from the campus of Johns Hopkins University, Nine East 33rd is quickly building a reputation for its combination of local favorite stores and restaurants, mixed with exciting new concepts. Race Pace Bicycles is tentatively scheduled to open in February 2017 and will join the recently opened Bird in Hand, honeygrow and CVS Pharmacy, as well as the previously announced PekoPeko Ramen and Towson Hot Bagels.
Locally owned and operated since 1978, Race Pace Bicycles is ranked as one of the top 100 bike shops in the United States. Leasing 2,489 square feet of space along St. Paul Street, “Baltimore’s Best Bike Shop” specializes in new and used bike sales, full service and repairs, and custom bicycle fittings – all provided by one of the friendliest and knowledgeable staffs in the region. In addition, Race Pace hosts a large number of cycling-related events throughout Baltimore.
“Baltimore is increasingly becoming a bike-oriented city, for both recreation and transportation purposes,” said Michael Beatty, President of Beatty Development Group. “Bringing Race Pace to Nine East 33rd provides an outlet for students, area residents and the larger Charles Village community to join in this exciting city-wide movement.”
Matthew Stein, MSC University Vice President & Director, represented the landlord during the transaction and is the exclusive leasing representative at Nine East 33rd.
